I’m thrilled to have the support of people across New Forest East.

“I worked for Forestry England as a forest worker, just like my dad and granddad, before I retired last year. I will never forget when the Tories tried to sell off our forest. Our community put a stop to it. But our forest has still suffered due to lack of staff and funding under austerity. My wages were reduced, and never reached what they were again. This is hard because my rent went up 20% last year.

I’m voting for Sasjkia because Labour has always supported working people like me, and the public sector.”

“As a 19 year old who struggled through Covid exam chaos, I watched as the Tories’ poor planning disadvantaged hundreds of kids across the UK. Now, casting my first vote, I’m siding with the party who puts young local people at the heart of their plans. As someone who grew up in the Forest, I’ve seen first hand the Tories’ carelessness with our climate, and about the concerns of young people.

Voting Labour means electing a party that listens. The Tories ignore us, but Labour will give us a voice.”
